The only (big) problem: In the cigarette filter, the cellulose acetate is pressed very tightly in order to achieve the highest possible filtering results - because of this, however, liquid (droplets while smoking or rain after careless disposal) has no way of penetrating to the inside to start the decomposition process there (they break down more slowly)
